Portsmouth City Council have sent us through information on a grants scheme for local charities and voluntary groups with incomes of under £35,000 to purchase equipment or to fund projects. The deadline for proposals is Friday 9 August 2019.

Information from the Council:

We recognise the incredible contribution and role our local charities, not-for-profit and voluntary sector organisations play in the local community. Thanks to the Portsmouth Lottery, we are able to offer one-off grants to local good causes through our small grants fund.

The grant could cover the purchase of needed equipment, or a specific project or activity. Before applying, read our funding policy guidelines and terms and conditions to ensure that you qualify for our small grant funding.

To apply, please download and complete the application form then either

  • email to portsmouthlottery@portsmouthcc.gov.uk,
  • or print it out and post to The Portsmouth Lottery, Voluntary Sector Team, Floor 1, Central Library, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth PO1 2DX

The deadline to receive applications for our next funding panel is Friday 9 August by 5pm
