Please use your local community pharmacy. Order and collect repeat prescriptions. Ensure you have a well-stocked medicine cabinet and self-care messaging.
Look after loved ones and checking in on vulnerable family members and neighbours.
Continue to attend appointments as planned. The NHS will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to strike action.
It’s very important that people who need medical care come forward. A number of services are available to ensure local Accident and Emergency Departments (A&E) are freed up to treat those with life-threatening and critical illnesses or injuries. Local A&E departments will be busy with long wait times. If you need healthcare services think NHS 111 online, community pharmacy or visit the urgent treatment centre.
