Updated: Nov 6

Picture of a woman signing against a white background. Text reads Accessible Information Standard: Report Findings. Four Healthwatch logos are underneath text: Healthwatch Hampshire, Healthwatch Isle of Wight, Healthwatch Portsmouth and Healthwatch Southampton.

The Accessible Information Standard is designed to ensure everyone, no matter what their needs and preferences, has access to information that they understand, and communication support they may need.

"We welcome the work undertaken by Healthwatch through Involving People to help enable our communities and individuals to better access the information and services they need. This report will play a key role in supporting the work we are doing to improve accessible information across NHS services in Hampshire and Isle of Wight. We know there are still disparities in experiences and opportunities across different organisations and we are taking steps to address those issues that people may face."

Tom Gurney Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement

NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight
